Senior Minister and Women’s Ministry Leader
John and Barri were both baptized into Christ in 1983 while attending Louisiana State University. John graduated with a B.S. in Civil Engineering. In 1985, they were married and moved to Memphis, TN where they first served in the full-time campus ministry and John completed a Master’s of Arts in Religion degree from Harding University. They went on to serve churches in Barri’s home town of Baton Rouge and then San Francisco, Sacramento, and St. Louis. In 1991, their first daughter, Jana was born. Then in 1993, they took on the missionary challenge of Bangkok, Thailand, where they all became fluent in Thai. In addition to serving as the evangelist of a church in Bangkok they also helped direct or start other works in Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar, overseeing ministries throughout Southeast Asia. In 1996, their second daughter Marin was born in Bangkok. After spending four years in Bangkok, they moved to Manila, Philippines to serve in the ministry there. In 1998 the Lusks moved to Denver, CO, where they served as the Senior Minister and Women’s Ministry Leader in the Denver Church of Christ. In December, 2004 John and his wife and two daughters moved to St. Louis where they served the St. Louis Church of Christ for five and a half years. There Barri graduated from the University of Missouri St. Louis with a B.A. in Sociology.
Currently, John and Barri serve as the Senior Minister and Women's Ministry Leader of the Denver Church of Christ. John enjoys hunting, fishing, archery, and spending time with his wife and girls. Barri enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, and the majestic Rocky Mountains.

Ministers
Northwest Evangelist and Women’s MinisterDoug and Suzanne Baity have been married for 22 years. They met at the University of Colorado where they were both students and part of the CU Campus Ministry. After graduating with a degree in Business, Doug went to San Francisco, CA as part of a church planting where he began the San Francisco State Campus ministry. Suzanne joined Doug a year later, where they were married and began to lead the Campus Ministry at CAL Berkeley. Doug and Suzanne have served in Boston, Pueblo, Omaha, Minneapolis and now currently in Denver. Suzanne is the Director for Hope for the City, Colorado as well as serving as a Women’s Ministry Leader.

Southeast Evangelist and Women’s MinisterRob and Dawn Ferry currently serve as Evangelist and Women's Ministry Leader for the Southeast Region of the Denver Church. Rob and Dawn relocated to Denver from Philadelphia in August of 2006. Rob was converted in the campus ministry at the University of Pennsylvania in 1994, just as he was completing his Ph.D. in Neuropharmacology at Penn's Medical School. Dawn was converted in 1990 at Duke University. She completed her Master's Degree in International Affairs at George Washington University before entering the full-time ministry in 1993. She served in the ministry in Washington, DC and San Francisco before meeting the love of her life. Rob and Dawn were married in June of 1997 and now have three young children: Hunter (9), Grant (7), and Skylar (6). They have been blessed with the privilege of leading campus students, singles and married couples during their 14 years in the full-time ministry together. Stops in their spiritual journey include Philadelphia, Harrisburg PA (where they planted the church in 1999), and Auckland, New Zealand where they served as missionaries, leading the Auckland Church of Christ. They enjoy photography and spending their free time running (Dawn), biking (Rob), skiing, camping, snowshoeing and enjoying God's Rocky Mountain High in Colorado.

Youth MinistryWade and Debbie Cook currently serve as an Evangelist and Women’s Ministry Leader, working with the youth ministry of the Denver Church of Christ. They both have been disciples for over 20 years, and have been in the full time ministry for over 15 years. They have served throughout the Denver metro and Colorado Springs areas. Wade and Debbie both graduated from The University of Colorado-Boulder. Debbie has a degree in English and is a registered nurse. Wade holds an undergraduate degree in Biology and is currently working on a Master’s degree in family counseling from Denver Seminary. They have three daughters McKenzie, Chandler and Alexis. They like to spend their free time canoeing, hiking and skiing/sledding in Breckenridge and the great Colorado outdoors.

Missions Evangelist and Women’s Minister
Frank and Erica were college sweethearts in the campus ministry of the Boston Church of Christ. After graduating from Harvard University and Tufts University respectively, they married and spent twenty exciting years as missionaries serving churches in Europe and Asia. Currently, Frank is a principal and CEO of Pactimo LLC, an international sports apparel company. Erica is a writer and full-time mother. They have three very special daughters – Miyoko (University of Washington), Manami (Regis University) and Mimi (6th grade). Frank is the former chairman of the board of HOPE worldwide, and Erica serves on the board of the Goldstone School of HOPE worldwide in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. They remain very involved with missions work, but feel deeply blessed to call Denver home.

University of Colorado, Boulder Ministry Miyoko Kim is a campus ministry intern at the University of Colorado in Boulder. She became a Christian on August 2, 2000. She recently graduated from the Foster School of Business at the University of Washington with a degree in Finance and Marketing. Upon graduation, she moved to Colorado to intern on the University of Colorado campus along with Ryan Flynn. She is passionate about traveling and has spent the last few summers traveling to Cambodia, China, and various places in Europe. She also loves the natural beauty of Colorado and enjoys outdoor activities. She loves to watch movies, dance, read, and her favorite food is ice cream.

Denver Campuses MinistryBrian Campbell is our campus intern/minster for the colleges in downtown Denver and the southeast region of the Denver metro area. He ministers at Metropolitan State College of Denver, University of Colorado in Denver, Denver University, and Arapaho Community College. Brian is finishing up his degree in Special Education at Metropolitan State College of Denver and will graduate in August 2009. He has been a campus intern for the past year and a half. He loves the outdoors including fly fishing, hiking, snowboarding, camping, and snowshoeing. He also enjoys playing many sports including baseball, rugby, road and mountain biking, racket ball, basket ball, and lifting weights. His favorite passage in the bible is Acts 20 v18- 35, favorite book is “Will the Real Heretics Please Stand up”, and his favorite food is BBQ Chicken.

University of Colorado, Boulder Ministry
Ryan Flynn leads our campus ministry at the University of Colorado, Boulder. Ryan was born and raised in Washington state. He attended the University of Washington in Seattle. As a freshman he joined Theta Xi fraternity where he was met by an older fraternity brother and invited to a Bible Talk. He was baptized into Christ later that school year on February 9, 2003. Ryan received his degree in Civil Engineering in 2006. Upon graduation he stayed around the campus ministry for as long as possible before taking a job as a structural engineer. After working in the engineering field for almost two years he decided to leave this company to pursue other interests. He moved to Boulder in January of 2009 to lead the CU Boulder ministry. He enjoys the surrounding mountains and the constant sunshine, giving him the opportunity to take up many of his favorite activities including hiking, climbing, skiing, volleyball, basketball, and most other outdoor sports. His other interests include reading, guitar, and classic rock.

Campus Intern
Christina Jones was born and raised in Norfolk, Virginia. She was met during undergrad at Old Dominion University and baptized into Christ in 2004. After graduation from ODU she moved to Roanoke, Virginia where she began pursuing a Masters in Counseling at Virginia Tech. During that time she was a part of the singles and teen ministry. After graduation she decided to dedicate a summer to God by looking for internships and enjoyed serving in teen ministry in St. Louis, Missouri for three months. She spent the last year working as a school counselor in Roanoke. In July of 2008 she was excited to move westward to begin working with Denver Church of Christ as a campus ministry intern. She enjoys spending time with friends, laughing, reading, and dancing. Her favorite passage is Ezekiel 16:1-14.
