Diversity Committee Event: Identity in Christ

How do you define yourself? American? Democrat? Republican? Black? White? Asian? Latino? Married? Single? 

The world tries to define us in many ways (culturally, politically, economically, etc.). We live in a culture of competing voices telling us who we are, who we should be and even who we should NOT be. Join us as Michael Burns (teacher and author from the Minneapolis-St. Paul Church of Christ) deconstructs identity issues within our culture and ourselves. Together, we will examine the biblical worldview of the kingdom and how it calls us to approach our identity and our place in the world.

No matter how others define you or how you define yourself, our true identity is always found in Christ.
