Dr. King popularized the notion of the "Beloved Community", in which he envisioned being a society based on biblical justice, equal opportunity, and love for one's fellow human beings. One way he, along with Mrs. King, envisioned this community being built is by gathering together around the dinner table.
Inspired by the legacy of Dr. King, HOPEww - Denver and The DCC Diversity Committee invite you to a "Celebrando la Diversidad"!
Join us as we share a meal and meaningful dialogue with our brothers, sisters and members of the Spanish-speaking ministry and community! We will hear inspiring stories and engage in rich conversation as we debunk myths surrounding the Hispanic community.
We also hope these meals will be a catalyst to ongoing individual and community relationships, and we will provide useful tools and practicals to support those connections.
Lunch will be provided, however, space IS limited so register soon!
