Many times I can get stuck in the “good ol’days” or in wishing for something different then the NOW.
During these months of the pandemic I have really begun to embrace the now. It doesn’t mean it’s always easy and sunshine. It means that whatever the right now gives me, I simply stay present.
The kids laughing in the other room, I stop and enjoy.
Political & social unrest, I stop and I pray.
Me or my kids overwhelmed by work and the school-hybrid schedule, I stop the chaos and we all take a brain break.
There are so many things that have changed and rocked my family during this time. Staying present and loving one another through it is the most precious gift.
Today is here. Stay in it.
Tomorrow will have enough for you to worry about. Love the right now.
Good, bad or ugly, your presence in the lives of those you love is the most important NOW.
“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” Matthew 6:34
